Tips

-You don't need to fully charge in order to splat, you can charge a quarter of the first wheel and still splat to get out of a close quarters combat. Try messing around in the training facility to see what works and what doesn't.

-The bubbler should be used to share with your team to enable effective pushes or stop enemy pushes, or for a quick escape.

-The Custom Hydra Splatling is best used for defending turf and splatting opponents. You should try to get to a good vantage point to defend turf. Try doing recon on many stages to find the best choke points. This also applies to the sprinkler.

Name Origin

Custom Hydra Splatling is derived from Custom; Hydra, a mythological multi-headed water monster, and a portmanteau of Splat and Gatling. Hydra may also be short for Hydrant, since the Custom Hydra Splatling is based on a fire hydrant in design. The prefix Custom is also used to differentiate it from the Hydra Splatling. This trait is shared among the other alternate sets of the Custom brand.

ハイドラントカスタム Haidoranto Kasutamu is derived from Hydrant and Custom. Hydrant refers to a fire hydrant. Like the English name, "Custom" is also used to differentiate it from Hydrant.
