Fugu Tee

The Fugu Tee is clothing in Splatoon. It is a 1-star item produced by the Firefin brand and comes with the main ability Swim Speed Up.

It can be purchased from Jelly Fresh for 750 cash.

Appearance

The Fugu Tee is a short-sleeved shirt in a very dark gray. On the front on a large white background is a black and white version of the Firefin logo with an Inkling symbol in place of the fish's face. On the bottom is a tiny white tag with a much smaller Firefin logo, and on the back is Firefin's name in bright green Inkling text with black outlines.

Abilities

The Fugu Tee comes with Swim Speed Up as a main ability. As a 1-star item, it also has one slot for a secondary ability. Since it is made by the Firefin brand, it has a higher chance of rolling Ink Saver (Sub) and a lower chance of rolling Ink Recovery Up.

• "Fugu" means "puffer fish" in Japanese, referencing the fish in the Firefin logo.
• The Fugu Tee had been in the Template:S' data files since the original release, and was shown in several promotional images beforehand. Prior to its release in Version 2.3.0, it was called the "Charcoal Puffer Tee".
  • A white version called the "White Puffer Tee" still exists in the game's files.
