Octo Tee

Template:Infobox gear The Octo Tee is clothing in Splatoon. It is a 3-star item produced by Cuttlegear and comes with the main ability Haunt.

This item cannot be purchased. Instead, it is a reward from Judd for reaching Level 45.

Appearance

The Octo Tee is a dark purple short-sleeved shirt. It is decorated with Inkling (or possibly Octarian) text formed by rows of small rhinestones, with two large letters on the front and a line of smaller letters on the lower back. At the left side of the hem is a small green tag with the Cuttlegear logo in white, and the shirt is accompanied by two black wristbands with dark gray octopus designs.

Abilities

The Octo Tee comes with Haunt as a main ability, which, being exclusive to the main slot of clothing, prevents the wearer from also having Ninja Squid, Cold Blooded, or Recon. As a 3-star item, the Octo Tee has three additional slots for secondary abilities. Since the Cuttlegear brand does not change the likelihood of any secondary abilities, they all have an equal chance.

Trivia

• The symbols on the shirt loosely resemble the Japanese word for "octopus" (たこ). This is in contrast to shirts such as the White Tee and Yellow Layered LS which have symbols resembling the Japanese word for "squid" (いか).
