Appearance
The Vintage Check Shirt is a cerulean blue long-sleeved button-down shirt. The shirt features plaid pattern in dark blue and magenta, hence the name, and has a small chest pocket on the wearer's left side. Its buttons are white and go left over right.
Abilities
The Vintage Check Shirt comes with Haunt as a main ability, which, being exclusive to the main slot of clothing, prevents the wearer from also having Ninja Squid, Cold Blooded, or Recon. As a 3-star item, the Vintage Check Shirt has three additional slots for secondary abilities. Since it is made by the Rockenberg brand, it has a higher chance of rolling Run Speed Up and a lower chance of rolling Swim Speed Up.

- The Vintage Check Shirt originally had spring green tartan stripes instead of magenta, and its buttons were red and slightly larger. This can be seen an image from the E3 Demo of Splatoon, at which time the game had not been finalized.
