The Aerospray RG is a main weapon in Splatoon and Splatoon 2. It is a variant of the Aerospray MG with a golden paint job and a different loadout.

  • The Aerospray RG and its alternates and the Inkbrush sets are the only weapons that require 5 hits to splat an opponent.
  • The "RG" in this weapon's name likely stands for "Real Grade", referencing Bandai's line of 1:144 scale model kits for the anime Mobile Suit Gundam.
    • This is because it is common for model kits to be painted with an airbrush and because Gundam models are extremely popular in Japan.
