The Angle Shooter is an upcoming sub weapon in Splatoon 3.

Appearance

The Angle Shooter resembles a highlight marker. The label wrapped around the Angle Shooter features the Nouveau logo and other Inkling text. Like the Point Sensor, enemies tagged by the Angle Shooter are encircled by a translucent black arrow and tied to the user with a line of the user's ink color, although the line is only visible to the user.

Description

The Angle Shooter is a fast-moving projectile that travels in a straight line and seems to be able to bounce off any surface until it reaches its maximum travel distance and disappears, briefly leaving behind a line of ink that damages foes that come in contact. Enemies hit by the Angle Shooter or its trail are tagged similarly to the Point Sensor, allowing them to be seen through barriers by the user. It is unclear if this tag can also be seen by the user's teammates. As of the Release Date Revealed trailer, it is a part of the Splattershot Pro's kit.

Quotes

Squid Research Lab coming to you directly with a report about a new sub weapon that's as direct as they come. The Angle Shooter launches a perfectly straight line far into the distance and will reflect off any surfaces it encounters. It's more exciting than it sounds - trust us!

Imagine bouncing an Angle Shooter off the walls of a narrow corridor, pinning down a rival. If they touch the line, they take damage... so while they hesitate, you pounce with your heavy main weapon and ink 'em up good! Take that, Gary! I mean... if your rival's name is Gary.
