The Autobomb is a Sub Weapon in Splatoon 2.

Description

The autobomb is quite similar to Seekers from the first game. However, they do not leave a trail of ink and can travel within a 360 degree radius. Once thrown, the autobomb will seek out any enemy players in the surrounding vicinity, indicated by the circle which appears once the autobomb has landed, and will automatically move towards them for quite a long time. Once the bomb reaches a player or travels far enough without catching the player, the bomb will explode.

If thrown and no enemies are in range, the autobomb will explode in the spot it was thrown similar to a Splat Bomb.

Try to use this weapons as a deadly Echolocator, locate hiding enemies. This weapon is useful for focused inklings, as while they are distracted, the Autobomb and sneak up on them. This sub has a very small blast. This weapon is also very useful in Splat Zones when many players are in close proximity.

Sub Power Up Effect

Sub Power Up will increase your throwing range when used with the Autobomb.
