Black Cuttlegear LS

The Black Cuttlegear LS is a piece of clothing in Splatoon 2.

It is a 2-star item produced by Cuttlegear and comes with the primary ability Swim Speed Up. It can be purchased from Ye Olde Cloth Shoppe for  5,800 or from SplatNet 2 Gear Shop for  11,600.

Appearance

The Black Cuttlegear LS is a black long-sleeved shirt with a red "8-ball" logo in the middle (4 logos line-up vertically to the left sleeve) and the word "octopus" mimicked with Inkling text, also red. More Inking text on the back and Cuttlegear patch, too. The sleeves puff out slightly at the wrists.

Abilities

The Black Cuttlegear LS comes with Swim Speed Up as the primary ability when purchased from a shop or ordered from Murch. When purchased from SplatNet 2, it comes with any other primary ability normally available to Clothing (with the exception of Ability Doubler). As a 2-star item, the Black Cuttlegear LS comes with two additional slots for secondary abilities, which may be increased to a maximum of three slots with a Super Sea Snail for each slot. Since it is made by the Cuttlegear gear brand, it has equal chances to roll any secondary ability.

Trivia

• This item, along with Octarian Retro, Octo Tee and Red Cuttlegear LS, were the first Cuttlegear branded items to be made available in shops.
