Black Layered LS

The Black Layered LS is a piece of clothing in the Splatoon series.

In Splatoon, it is a 1-star item produced by SquidForce and comes with the primary ability Ink Saver (Main). It can be purchased from Jelly Fresh for  500.

In Splatoon 2, it is a 1-star item produced by SquidForce and comes with the primary ability Ink Saver (Main). It can be purchased from Ye Olde Cloth Shoppe for  500 or from SplatNet 2 Gear Shop for  1,250.

Appearance

The Black Layered LS consists of a very dark gray, not black, short-sleeved shirt and the long-sleeved white shirt worn under it. On the front of the short-sleeved shirt is the Inkling text from the SquidForce logo in black and blue with a white outline. This is repeated on the back, with some sort of red and yellow creature beneath it. At the bottom of the short-sleeved shirt is a tiny purple tag with the SquidForce logo in white, and the end of the long-sleeved shirt can just be seen poking out just below it.

Abilities

The Black Layered LS comes with Ink Saver (Main) as the primary ability. As a 1-star item, the Black Layered LS comes with one additional slot for secondary abilities, which may be increased to a maximum of three slots with a Super Sea Snail or 30,000 cash for each slot. Since it is made by the SquidForce gear brand, it has a higher chance of rolling Damage Up and a lower chance of rolling Ink Saver (Main) to fill its secondary ability slot.

Abilities

The Black Layered LS comes with Ink Saver (Main) as the primary ability when purchased from a shop or ordered from Murch. When purchased from SplatNet 2, it comes with any other primary ability normally available to Clothing (with the exception of Ability Doubler). As a 1-star item, the Black Layered LS comes with one additional slot for secondary abilities, which may be increased to a maximum of three slots with a Super Sea Snail for each slot. Since it is made by the SquidForce gear brand, it has a higher chance of rolling Ink Resistance Up and a lower chance of rolling Ink Saver (Main) to fill its secondary ability slot.
