Description
Blitz It! is an intense chiptune and rock fusion song added to Splatoon 2 in Version 3.0.0, alongside Wave Prism. It begins with a brief drum solo leading into the main melody of the song being played on guitar, accompanied by chiptune noises and bass. This is followed by an exchange between the guitar and vocals, still accompanied by chiptune noises, bass, and the drum, which, while being consistent, is extremely complex before the vocals and guitar join together. Afterwards, the backup vocals join in, still exchanging with the main vocals, as the guitar goes back to playing the song's main melody. The chiptune sound then briefly takes over for a moment while the other instruments back it. Afterwards, the vocals take the forefront again, with the backing vocals and main vocals now joining together, backing vocals taking brief breaks for the main vocals to stand out more. Afterwards, an extended version of the song's intro plays, leading into the song looping. The song can additionally be heard in Squid Beatz 2, with scores of 141 and 299 in Normal and Hard modes, respectively. It was first heard in the trailer for Version 3.0.0.
