Bomb Range Up increases the velocity of most throwable sub weapons, allowing players to throw them up to 50% farther.
There is no brand that modifies the likelihood of rolling Bomb Range Up as a sub-ability.
Use
Bomb Range Up does not affect File:S Weapon Seeker .png [[]]s, File:S Weapon Splash Wall .png [[]]s, or File:S Weapon Sprinkler .png [[]]s despite all of those weapons being thrown. It does affect File:S Weapon Disruptor .png [[]]s, File:S Weapon Burst Bomb .png [[]]s, File:S Weapon Point Sensor .png [[]]s, File:S Weapon Splat Bomb .png [[]]s, and File:S Weapon Suction Bomb .png [[]]s. The green, dashed arc shown when tossing the affected sub weapons is visibly longer, allowing players to toss these weapons impressive distances. The ability is useful for tossing these weapons at greater distances than some opponents can shoot. This allows players to stand just outside of their opponents' range while retaliating with bombs.
Players can jump, or build up momentum before throwing by swimming in squid form, to increase throwing distance even more. The increase is visible in the dashed arc.
Bomb Range Up increases the velocity of the affected projectiles. This makes it easier to hit fast-moving opponents with File:S Weapon Burst Bomb .png [[]]s, File:S Weapon Disruptor .png [[]]s, and File:S Weapon Point Sensor .png [[]]s. So, Bomb Range Up is not just for reaching far opponents; it also makes projectiles more effective at closer ranges.
