Checkpoint 1

When the player begins the stage, they find themselves on a short platform. This platform ends in a pair of dash tracks, which takes the player through two Squid Rings to a staircase made of Bounce Pads with two Octotroopers. Once they bounce up the stairs, the player reaches a thin metal platform with two Power Eggs at the end. Before they drop down, the player can splat two balloons for more Power Eggs. Below is a path made of Bounce Pads and a rotating Ink Piston which the player has to avoid, while there is an option to collect a Power Egg container. Follow the path to another platform with three Power Eggs to collect while climbing up to reach the second checkpoint.

Checkpoint 2

Right after that is another pair of dash tracks that send Agent 8 to a pathway of Bounce Pads with another rotating Ink Piston while two Squid Rings can be collected. The path leads down to a similar pathway with Bounce Pads in a square formation that loops around. The rotating Ink Piston has a Power Egg container floating above it and a small group of uninkable platforms attached to its backside which have a key on the top. After collecting the key, the player has to ink and climb onto one of two sponges that have a Power Egg each to reach another platform above. Opening a Vault reveals a Launchpad that launches Agent 8 to the third checkpoint.

Checkpoint 3

The platform Agent 8 is on leads to another pair of dash tracks bringing the player onto a two-wide Bounce Pad path with an Octosniper. The player has to dodge the Octarian's attacks while they can hide behind two bumpers and collect two Squid Rings on the way to the enemy. Defeat the Octosniper and head towards an Ink Cannon, with the goal to shoot the propeller bringing the platform made of Bounce Pads towards the player. Jump down onto the platform and wait for it to return to where it came from. Along the way, the player can collect two more Power Egg containers while dodging more rotating Ink Pistons. Once the platform stops, the player has to ink and climb to the top of the next platform to reach the fourth and final checkpoint.

Final checkpoint

The final area is quite simple; there is a final pair of dash tracks, leading the player to a final Bounce Pad zone with two spinning Ink Pistons and an Octotrooper which the player can defeat or ignore and get to the goal.
