Please delete I messed up! But can you change the title of Category:Weapon strategy to Category:Weapon Strategy because it should be capitalized. xmplr (tlkr) 11:25, 14 September 2020 (UTC)

We only capitalize proper names and the first letter, just like Wikipedia. See the capitalization section in the manual of style. Heddy (talk) 12:47, 14 September 2020 (UTC)

The weapon Strategy Navbox

The wiki's weapon strategy pages are an ongoing project and not every weapon has a page yet. If you see a weapon that you have experience with that doesn't have a page yet, feel free to help out and create the page. Thanks! EminenceTalk 13:51, 18 August 2023 (UTC)

I already added some of his tips to Splatoon 3 Octobrush, and I was wondering if I could be added to the list of involved users for (watch me name this) Project Stratagize. Why do we use the promo images for the competitive pages?

I noticed that we use the promo images for our competitive pages, and I thought it was strange. I was thinking that if we wanted to have a different image (for Splatoon 3 at least) we could use the in battle icons? Not sure. I just wanted to know. Stay Fresh! Organization

Howdy, I hope everyone is doing well! I'm sorta new to the wiki/ the weapon strategy article project in general. But I think we could really beneift from some more organization, mainly pertaining to completing strategy articles for Splatoon 1 weapons. I know realistically no one will use them as Splatoon 1 will be unplayable in 5 months, but I think its our job as Inkipedia to archive every aspect of Splatoon including how weapons played, their uses, strengths, weaknesses and what they ran.

I think we could benefit from asking the mods on the Inkipedia Discord server to create a channel for the Weapon Strategy Article project as Discord is much more organized than a talk page. Lets do our best to complete this project before Splatoon 4 comes out! SilverNouveau (talk) 02:42, 13 November 2023 (UTC)

Discord vice voivode here—It hasn't been made since nobody particularly asked, at least what I can tell. I would say though that having a thread might not hurt, but most of the time broadly-speaking work is better suited on-platform given that it doesn't necessitate the use of a platform some editors do not use, as well as being more transparent about the content within those logs. Real-time communication is a given, but there's great value in sandbox pages as well (for example, my own).

One thing I will say though is that despite a healthy editor base, we really just have not seen much interest in the competitive pages as whole. It will likely be something you or only a few people actually work towards completing. My point being, you can rally the troops but they probably won't come running: Be prepared that it is a project that has remained incomplete for a reason. Trig - 03:37, 13 November 2023 (UTC)

Yeah, it's a shame, but I feel like we really need to try our hardest possible, because the Splatoon 1 part of this project is on borrowed time. Even if people have the game and weapon to accompany it, that won't help much because they can't access the shooting range (unless they can access it through the equip menu) So I think we should look at specific user pages, or Discord accounts (If that's possible, I can't use Discord) and if they have what we need, we can ask! It may seem a bit strange, but we have to, or the project will never feel complete! That's just my personal opinion. I may have a more in-depth plan listed on my User Page. Stay Fresh!
