The Custom Painted F-3 is a piece of clothing in Splatoon 2.
It is a 3-star item produced by Forge and comes with the primary ability Ink Resistance Up.
It can be purchased from Ye Olde Cloth Shoppe for 
9,700 or from SplatNet 2 Gear Shop for 14,550.
Appearance
The Custom Painted F-3 is a brown B3 aviator jacket with fur cuffs, hem and collar. On the right breast is a yellow Forge logo. On the left breast is the text from the Forge logo in white text, with a yellow winged emblem underneath. The backside of the jacket is painted with a seahorse with an earring, a dress, and lipstick. Above the seahorse is blue inkling text, and an arc of squids is underneath.

Abilities
The Custom Painted F-3 comes with Ink Resistance Up as the primary ability when purchased from a shop or ordered from Murch. When purchased from SplatNet 2, it comes with any other primary ability normally available to Clothing (with the exception of Ability Doubler). As a 3-star item, the Custom Painted F-3 comes with three additional slots for secondary abilities. Since it is made by the Forge gear brand, it has a higher chance of rolling Special Power Up and a lower chance of rolling Ink Saver (Sub) to fill its secondary ability slots.
Trivia
- The seahorse illustration on the back of the Custom Painted F-3 bears a resemblance to the character Betty Boop.
