Quotes

SRL flavorologist here again. I'm busier than I expected! Anyway, they asked me to announce the next Splatfest theme: dark chocolate vs. milk chocolate vs. white chocolate! Make your choice, then fight it out from 4pm PT on 2/10 to 4pm PT on 2/12. Sounds pretty sweet to me!

Trivia

  • This Splatfest happened to fall near Valentine's Day, which is often celebrated by giving chocolates to loved ones.
  • This was the second Splatfest in Splatoon 3 to have a food theme, with Spicy vs. Sweet vs. Sour being the first.
    • Though previous Splatoon 3 Splatfests have had food themed options.
  • As evidenced by the announcement dialogue, this Splatfest's theme seems to be a result of Team Sweet winning. However, the events of the Spicy vs. Sweet vs. Sour Splatfest were not originally referenced in the Japanese dialogue.
  • The visual bug wherein Octolings appear to have Inkling eyes and ears if they board a Splatfest Float persists from the last Splatfest event.
  • During Tri-Color Battles, in the bar depicting turf percentages, Team Dark Chocolate's color was completely black, unlike the ink color. This was likely done to match with the colors of Milk and White Chocolate.
