Template:InfoboxMission/OctoExpansion Don't Ralph Station is a test in Splatoon 2's paid downloadable content, the Octo Expansion. This station is unlocked after clearing Bust & Run Station or Heinous 8-Ball Station.

Access

The player must clear either E02 Bust & Run Station or E04 Heinous 8-Ball Station to access this test. The shortest way to access this station is to clear E02 Bust & Run Station.

Overview

The Player must use the H-3 Nozzlenose to activate ink switches to get to the goal. Activating the ink switches will spin sloped platforms. There is also a ink switch that rotates a platform that has two walls on the sides that prevents Octomissiles from hitting an ink switch, keeping an platform that leads to the goal away from the player.

Trivia

  • The title is a reference to the nineties slang term "to ralph", meaning "to vomit" and the subtitle is a reference to Will Smith's 1997 song, Gettin' Jiggy wit It.
  • This station has "Chikyu Goma" gyroscopes and "Kutsuwa" pencil cases floating around in the background. The Japanese toy gyroscopes have been produced since 1921. The "Kutsuwa" pencil cases are Japanese pencil cases from the eighties.
    • The pencil cases have Jellyfish and other Splatoon-themed sea creatures on them.
    • E06 Swass 8-Ball Station also has the gyroscopes and B13 Phat Splatz Station also has the pencil cases floating around in the background as well.
    • The Dutch title of this station, "Middelvliedende kracht", alludes to the gyroscopes.
  • The Russian subtitle and title are a reference to the Pole Chudes TV-show.
  • Don't Ralph Station is the only mission in the Octo Expansion to use the H-3 Nozzlenose.

Translation notes

  1. ↑ The title erroneously uses a term that has no meaning. The correct term is "Middelpuntvliedende kracht", which means centrifugal force.
  2. ↑ Comes from "Schwenk" (Swing) and "Heim" (home), but the latter most likely refers to the suffix found in certain German city or district names, since that has been the theming for many station titles.
  3. ↑ A reference to the popular russian TV show "Field of Dreams".
