Endolphin Surge is a song performed by Wet Floor.

Description

Endolphin Surge is an electronic rock song. It begins with heavily vocalized singing, before a relatively lengthy instrumental break. Then two different voices alternate between each other, singing, all while backed by the drums. It is one of five multiplayer themes included in Splatoon 2 at launch. Like all battle songs, it has a random chance of being played during online matches. It can also be heard in Squid Beatz 2, with a maximum score of 202 and 426 in Normal and Hard modes, respectively. In Splatoon 3, this song can sometimes play in the Battle Lobby.

The song is also featured in the soundtrack for Super Smash Bros. Ultimate, and by default, it has a chance of playing on Moray Towers. It can also be heard in the Sounds section in the Vault menu.

Etymology

Endolphin is a pun, based off endorphins, natural body chemicals that relieve pain and increase pleasure, primarily from exercise, and dolphin, an aquatic creature. The high felt from endorphins could represent the excitement while battling.
