The Forest Vest is a piece of clothing in the Splatoon series.
In Splatoon, it is a 3-star item produced by Inkline and comes with the primary ability Ink Recovery Up.
It can be purchased from Jelly Fresh for 
11,000.
In Splatoon 2, it is a 3-star item produced by Inkline and comes with the primary ability Ink Recovery Up.
It can be purchased from Ye Olde Cloth Shoppe for 
11,000 or from SplatNet 2 Gear Shop for 16,500.
Appearance
The Forest Vest consists of a dull green down vest and the dark purple, plaid-patterned, button-down shirt worn underneath. The vest has a slightly shiny texture and six dark gray buttons, two of which are on a pair of pockets. Toward the top it has sections of light and dark gray, and the inside of its collar is a dull yellow. The bottom of the plaid shirt pokes out loosely from beneath the vest.

The Forest Vest comes with Ink Recovery Up as the primary ability. As a 3-star item, the Forest Vest comes with three additional slots for secondary abilities. Since it is made by the Inkline gear brand, it has a higher chance of rolling Defense Up and a lower chance of rolling Damage Up to fill its secondary ability slots.
Splatoon 2
Abilities
The Forest Vest comes with Ink Recovery Up as the primary ability when purchased from a shop or ordered from Murch. When purchased from SplatNet 2, it comes with any other primary ability normally available to Clothing (with the exception of Ability Doubler). As a 3-star item, the Forest Vest comes with three additional slots for secondary abilities. Since it is made by the Inkline gear brand, it has a higher chance of rolling Bomb Defense Up DX and a lower chance of rolling Main Power Up to fill its secondary ability slots.
