Fresh Squiffer

The Fresh Squiffer is a main weapon in Splatoon and Splatoon 2. It is a Classic Squiffer with a different loadout and a dusty red appearance instead of the normal blue.

Appearance

The Fresh Squiffer shares its build with the Classic Squiffer. However, the part that usually connects the bottle to the trigger is red on the Fresh Squiffer, and the sticker on the bottle is pink and green. Interestingly, the starburst sticker present on the New Squiffer is also seen on the Fresh Squiffer.

The Fresh Squiffer was first announced during the Nintendo Direct on 3 March 2016. It is one of eight weapons included in Sheldon's Picks Vol. 1 and was released at 02:00 UTC on 13 April 2016. It comes in a set with Suction Bombs and Kraken.

• Ink consumption scales from 1.87% to 10.5% depending on the charge level.
  • The full-charge ink consumption of 10.5% allows players to fire 9 shots before needing to refill the ink supply.
  • This stat can be changed with Ink Saver (Main).
• The Fresh Squiffer cannot store its charge.

• The Fresh Squiffer is a middleweight weapon.
• The matchmaking range is 185. The game's matchmaking system looks at a team's average matchmaking range value, and matches them against a team with a similar average.
• Ink consumption scales from 1.867% to 10.5% depending on the charge level.
  • The full-charge ink consumption of 10.5% allows players to fire 9 shots before needing to refill the ink supply.
  • This stat can be changed with Ink Saver (Main).
• The Fresh Squiffer can store its charge while submerged in ink.
  • A stored charge can be held for up to 1.25 seconds.
