Adding the missing songs of C-Side

I think the reason that they haven't been added yet is that they don't have names, although some songs have been added that don't have names, such as Chaos Carnival. I am thinking that maybe the part about them in the C-Side page could be extended to include more information. I don't know if the files for them exist yet on Inkipedia. Curent stages and stuff

Apparently the stages from the previous Splatoon game are already in the lists, not in the Splatoon 3 because they are already in two games, and I believe they just don’t want isn’t to be shown twice. The same goes for Salmon Run NEXT WAVE music.

The SplatNet2 info was hidden on the Main Page to prevent confusion from Splatoon 3 players. If anyone wants to step up and create a Splatoon 3 equivalent for the wiki, they are more than welcome to create it! Heddy (talk) 22:15, 17 October 2022 (UTC)

@ArivakiVA Next time you can just link to it like Shiver#Gender by using the wiki code [[Shiver#Gender]], so that we know what you're talking about.

Since this topic does not impact the entire wiki, you should discuss this at Talk:Shiver. There is already plenty of discussion there, just add a new topic specifically about your desired changes to the article. In general, information should not be removed from a wiki unless it is inaccurate or out-of-scope, so you need to have a good reason to remove content, and the majority of editors need to agree with you. How do you create a page?

Thats actually a good question, i dont know the official way to do it, but if you put whatever the name you want your page to have in the search bar and search it, there should be a pop up that say "create the page "(whatever you searched)" on this wiki!" with a red link to create the page.

That is one way to do it. Another is to (when on a page) use WhatLinksHere to type in the page you want to create. This can be done with categories as well, just by entering Category: to the start of the name. An alternate way is by having a broken link (in red) on a page, and then clicking said page to make the page. There is no so called "Create Page" page, though. Trig - 19:58, 14 October 2022 (UTC)

You can also create new pages like this https://splatoonwiki.org/wiki/Newpage. Replace Newpage with the page title, and it will say: "There is currently no text in this page. You can search for this page title in other pages, search the related logs, or create this page." click "create this page" you're now creating a new page! Splatoon 3 Inkfests?

I saw that some events named “Inkfests” were made time ago by the Inkipedia community but that there are none in a long time, and Idk I think its good to try to start again with these custom splatfes-like events now with Splatoon 3, even if there are Splatfest ocurring, maybe a way to enjoy being part of the Inkipedia Community? Idk it will be something we should think together, don’t ya think?

Gear tabs

Currently, the tabs at the bottom of pages relating to headgear, clothing, and shoes are organized by amount of stars. This makes sense in the first two Splatoon games because the amount of stars can be changed, but in Splatoon 3, they can be increased, making the organization unhelpful. Actually, I dont think its a good idea to have a page about lore because its not “official”, the pages that covers that functions are the Sandbox and maybe the Blogs. You can make a page named “User:Wind Waker/Splatoon Lore” or something like that, that page would be completely yours and there you are able to add everything you want (at least everything that respects the Inkipedia Policy). Uploading images from phone

The destination filename is what the file will be called on the wiki. By default it is what the file is called on your phone, but you should replace it with one that describes the file better.  GX_64 (talk)  02:59, 30 October 2022 (UTC)

If your trying to figure out how to send photos from switch, go to your photos, then to your selected photo, then “send to Smartphone”, then you will get two QR codes, the first one is to connect to switch Wi-Fi (I believe), and the second goes to the link containing your photo/recording. Inkling Language (Alterna Edition)

Seeing as how we have the Alterna script done, I'd like to say I think I made a discovery, but I don't have a full grip on what it says. So there's a sign in the end sequence of the main story, one of those little areas reminiscent of Octo Expansion's weapon select area (ah who am I kidding that whole campaign is based off of OE). It's the sign that looks like a warning, with a graphic of a person on it. It says some gibberish, but then it says "I wunt you fyr fluwh to moom". I'm assuming it says something like "I want you for fly to moon" but I don't really know. I would use an image but I don't have a capture card to show. Using Pronouns instead of Genders

Hello all! I was reading through old talk/discussion pages when I came across Shiver's. (https://splatoonwiki.org/wiki/Talk:Shiver) @Slate had the idea to use pronouns instead of gender. Although there aren't characters that use pronouns other than their specified gender, it would be helpful in the future for if, or hopefully when there are characters who have pronouns other than he or she. You know how Splatoon 3 infoboxes all share the same color, right. Well I think that we should create a template/new color infoboxes universally so that all salmon run pages will have the same color instead of just sharing their color with the Splatoon 3 infobox templates. Wait real quick, I think that there is not a necessary specific template for each color of infobox, instead there is site colors. I.E, there is an S3 site color for Splatoon 3. I took a look at it, then at the list of cards, it has no problems, the illustrations are in the correct slots.

What I mean is, the original card art was wrong. You have it archived and the illustrations are in the right places, but the original card art, the one the developers made, is incorrect. The sloshing machine’s actual tableturf battle card’s in-game art features the killer wail 5.1like how it is in promotional before-release images, even though the sloshing machine’s special weapon is actually booyah bomb . I tried to re-name the page Treasure of Alterna to Collectibles of Alterna, I went to advanced settings and changed the ‘display title’, but it doesn’t look like it changed. Any help?

There seems to be a wiki “error” problem

This is a known issue. It impacts all pages with a "/" in the title, such as "User:Chrome Wolf/Sandbox". The webmaster is researching possible fixes, but don't expect a fix soon.

For now, please use the source editor for all pages with a "/" in the title.

It doesn't add it automatically, but there's a button at the top between the 'cite' and 'insert' buttons, which will let you add bulleted and numbered lists. Hope this helps! Ryaan (talk) 17:04, 24 November 2022 (UTC)

Or if you are using the source editor (like I do), you can add an asterisk (*) and it will come out like this:

• The Tri-Stringer is a new weapon added in Splatoon 3.

And a double asterisk (**) put after the first bullet point will give you this:

• The Splatana Wiper is a middleweight Splatana.
  • The Splatana Stamper is it’s heavyweight variant.
