That sounds like a random play session and not an event. This page is for advertising organized events with 5 or more Inkipedia users participating. If you create an event with that criteria, feel free to add it. Heddy (talk) 02:21, 14 April 2021 (UTC)

Format change

I changed the format of the page, to make it look pretty. I thought about making it a table, but I decided to go with a grid to allow images to shine! Is everyone happy with the new format? Heddy (talk) 06:54, 24 April 2021 (UTC)

I'm happy with the new format. I'd just change the example image to something else that better resembles two teams against each-other. Maybe like two sides with grey questions from Salmon Run or something similar. Shahar (talk) 09:43, 24 April 2021 (UTC)

Is the participants list wanted? Is it cluttering the page? If we want, we can remove it from this page, and people could still view that information on each event's page. Participants are not so important to mention here, I think. Heddy (talk) 02:23, 27 April 2021 (UTC)

Yes, a scrollable or expandable box would be good to reduce clutter, but that's only necessary if there is demand for participants to be listed here. For now I have removed them, but I have no problem with them being added back if someone feels they should be included. Of course, they will always be listed on the event's page, and the purpose of Inkipedia:Inkfest is to just advertise and list events, so I really believe it is overkill to have participants listed. Minifest Mayhem. Should we do something about this?

As most of you may know, there's been a recent surge of minifests coming in, with May becoming completely booked within a week! I've seen many people forced to reschedule their fests because of people scheduling different fests on the same day. I feel we should do something about this, such as putting a limit on the number of minifests that can take place per month. Does anyone else feel the same way, or have a different plan? @Heddy When I say "May is booked" I mean that May's weekends are booked. If you look at the dates in which the minifests take place, they're mostly on the weekends because that's when most people have the time to do other activities besides from work or school. Let's say you got two weddings on the same day, you can 1) Go to one of them or 2) Start in one and go to the other later. I don't see a problem with events overlapping. Shahar (talk) 11:37, 12 May 2021 (UTC)

@Shahar Ok. Good point, but let's say these weddings are an hour apart from each other. Like you said, you could just go to one and go to the other later, but what if they take place at the same general time? Or what if something pops up, and you can't make it to the other? Or what if there's three different weddings on the same day, and you have other things to do? That's when we start to have problems. Plus, minifests usually take a while, so it's kind of hard to go to multiple on the same day, anyways. WoomyMcBoomy 19:49, 12 May 2021 (UTC)

I guess the main problem is that people are nice and they don't want to take other people's days. Also people have them on a Saturday because those are the days when people have free time and have nothing to do. I do say that there is a surge, but I think it's fine. (I actually like it because I love Minifests). As someone who had their Minifest delayed because of it, I still feel good about how it is right now. How do I make an Inkfest official??

You can make an Inkfest by creating a page titled User:SunnysideSophie/Inkfest Name. (Example User:SunnysideSophie/Bread vs Toast) Then you would add it to the inkipedia:Inkfest page. :) Odd (Talk) 23:25, 7 February 2023 (UTC)

There is an inkfest shown from back in July in Active Fests. Someone please update this
