What will not get you blocked

Great start for the page! However, I'm not too sure about the "What will not get you blocked" section:

• Edit warring, unless the war grows into other policy violations - users edit warring and refusing to discuss is disruptive. If two editors are reverting each other back-and-forth, I think it's worth warning them and encouraging them to discuss. If they continue reverting each other, however, that's become disruptive to the article and I think a block is appropriate for whatever parties refuse to discuss.
• Use of inappropriate language or material in a non-disruptive place (userspace, for example) - what defines inappropriate content? Since we are a wiki covering Splatoon, we potentially have a much younger audience than most sites. Anything that we would consider inappropriate shouldn't appear anywhere on the site IMO. Like edit warring, using inappropriate language and the like should be met with warnings, and blocks if the behavior continues. ~SuperHamster Talk 00:28, 22 June 2015 (UTC)

Block lengths

I'm not a huge fan of the large table of different block lengths for 10 different offenses. It's unnecessarily bureaucratic to define all the different block lengths - it's limiting for admins and unfair for editors. Not all offenses are the same. If a brand new account joins and the only thing it's doing is spamming a ton of links to different unrelated websites, I'm not going to block them for three days - most likely, indefinitely. Likewise, someone who is using moderately inappropriate language and doesn't stopped after being asked to, I'd be more inclined to block them for a few days, vs. a month for someone who's being far more vulgar and harassing.

A better option, I think, is to simply state how most offenses will be given short blocks (1 day to a week), with longer and longer blocks with each repeating offense. Continuing to repeat offenses can lead to a permanent block, while some major offenses can lead to an instant indefinite block.
