The Krak-On Splat Roller is a main weapon in the Splatoon series. It is the Krak-On branded variant of the Splat Roller.

Appearance

The Krak-On Splat Roller's appearance in each game is based on the default Splat Roller variant from the same game with an added Krak-On branding.

In Splatoon and Splatoon 2, the ink tank strap has a sticker of Krak-On's wordmark and both sides of the roller cylinder have a Krak-On's circular logo each.

In Splatoon 3, the roller frame's purple-and-yellow color scheme is changed to Krak-On's orange-and-blue and it has a white Krak-On wordmark on the left side. A sticker of Krak-On's icon-and-wordmark logo is pasted on the roller's ink tank.

Trivia

  • Fitting of its name, the Krak-On Splat Roller is the first weapon to offer the Kraken special weapon in Splatoon, and the first to offer the Kraken Royale in Splatoon 3. It is also always the first-unlocked weapon with the Squid Beakon.
    • It is, however, not the first-unlocked weapon with the Baller-that's the Inkbrush Nouveau.
  • When Kraken Royale comes up in Judd's advice, the player is equipped with the Krak-on Splat Roller for the Judd's Trial.

Etymology

Krak-On Splat Roller is a combination of Splat and Roller. It has the Krak-On brand name as a prefix to differentiate it from the Splat Roller. It also denotes that the weapon is a collaboration with Krak-On.

スプラローラーコラボ supura rōrā korabo is a combination of either Splat or Splash, and Roller. It also has the abbreviated prefix Collab to separate it from Splaroller and to denote that it is a collaboration. However, unlike the English name, it does not specify the brand Krak-On.
