L-3 Nozzlenose
The L-3 Nozzlenose is main weapon in Splatoon and Splatoon 2. It is the Light version of the Nozzlenose. Unlike most other Shooters, pressing will automatically fire 3 bullets at a time. While all 3 bullets within a burst are fired very fast, firing another burst takes slightly more time. Four bullets are needed to splat an enemy, meaning that at least 2 bursts will have to be fired at an enemy to accomplish this.

Trivia
- The Nozzlenose family of weapons are visually designed after garden hose reels. This is also reflected in their names in some other languages. They also somewhat resemble revolvers.
- The L in the name means "Light", referring that this weapon is the lighter version of the Nozzlenose weapons, not to be confused with being a Light Class weapon.
- This is supported by the French and both Spanish translations of the weapon.
