The Nautilus 79 was released on 5 December 2018 at 02:00 UTC[1]. It comes with Suction Bombs and the Inkjet. It also has the ability to store a charge for up to 3⅓ seconds.

  • While Main Power Up increases the number of shots fired, it does not increase the ink consumption relative to the amount charged, making the weapon comparatively more ink efficient.

Quotes

S2 Sheldon Artwork.png
Sheldon's Introduction

The Nautilus 79 functions like the Nautilus 47, but comes with an all new coat of paint!
Exert influence on the movement of your foes with the Suction Bombs, then store a charge and dash in to attack when the time is right!
Once you smell fear, pull out the Inkjet special and turn the tides of ink in your favor!
There's nothing painted-on about true battle skill! This set is for those who always answer when opportunity comes knocking!

Trivia

  • The number 79 in this weapon's name might be a reference to its golden color since 79 is the atomic number of gold. This matches with the Nautilus 47 and its silver color.
  • In an earlier data mine of the Nautilus 79, the sub weapon was shown to be Splat Bombs, not Suction Bombs. This was changed, however, and the Nautilus 79 got released with the Suction Bomb.
