Neo Octoling Armor
The Neo Octoling Armor is a piece of clothing in the Splatoon series.
It is a 2-star item produced by Cuttlegear and comes with the primary ability Haunt. .
It can be obtained by collecting two sets of mem cakes, speaking to Iso Padre and beating the Octo Expansion.
Appearance
They have an appearance identical to the breastplate worn by enemy Octolings. It is based off the breastplate from the redesigned outfit of Octolings in Splatoon 2 rather than the original 
Octoling Armor. It consists of a pair of leather fingerless gloves and a black vest, with a stylized metal sash-plate on top. The sash is secured with a black belt-strap, with a metal buckle on the player's left-hand side. Two more belts with metal buckles are worn around the waist, forming a cross.

Abilities
The Neo Octoling Armor come with Haunt as the primary ability, which, being exclusive to the main slot of Clothing, prevents the wearer from also having Ability Doubler, Ninja Squid, Respawn Punisher, or Thermal Ink. As a 2-star item, the Neo Octoling Armor comes with two additional slots for secondary abilities, which may be increased to a maximum of three slots with a Super Sea Snail for each slot. Since it is made by the Cuttlegear gear brand, it has equal chances to roll any secondary ability.
Trivia
- Unlike some other gear earned in single-player modes, the Neo Octoling Armor is not called a "replica". This is shared with the other Neo Octoling clothing, and the original Octoling set from Splatoon. This could possibly mean that it is not a replica, but genuine clothing from the Octolings.
