Octo Tackle Helmet Deco
The Octo Tackle Helmet Deco is headgear in the Splatoon series.
It is a 3-star item produced by Forge and comes with the primary ability Bomb Defense Up DX. It can be purchased from Headspace for 8,888 or from SplatNet 2 Gear Shop for 13,332.
Appearance
The Octo Tackle Helmet Deco is a black football helmet. It has three stripes running along the top, one in the middle is white, and two colored stripes that changes color to match that of the wearer's ink. On the left side is a logo of a stylized octopus (presumably of a football team named "Octo Tackle") that matches the wearer's ink.
The right side of the helmet has multiple small stickers with the logos for Turf War, Ranked Battle, and Private Match, and a larger Forge logo sticker. The chinstrap is white, and the face mask is a darker version of the wearer's ink color. On the forehead is a white rectangle with some Inkling text in black.
On the left side, near the back, are stickers with the Splatfest team icons for Ketchup, Ice Cream, Without Lemon, and Werewolf, as well as the icon that symbolizes Marina in the Splatfest logo (essentially the right half of the icon with its mirror image). Notably, the logos are all Marina's choice in their respective Splatfests, matching the gear's "Octo" name.
Splatoon 2
Abilities
The Octo Tackle Helmet Deco comes with Bomb Defense Up DX as the primary ability when purchased from a shop or ordered from Murch. When purchased from SplatNet 2, it comes with any other primary ability normally available to Headgear. As a 3-star item, the Octo Tackle Helmet Deco comes with three additional slots for secondary abilities. Since it is made by the Forge gear brand, it has a higher chance of rolling Special Power Up and a lower chance of rolling Ink Saver (Sub) to fill its secondary ability slots.
