Old-Timey Clothes

The Old-Timey Clothes are pieces of clothing in the Splatoon series.

They are a 2-star item produced by Cuttlegear and come with the primary ability Thermal Ink. They can be obtained from Octo Expansion. They cannot be ordered from another player.

This item is part of the gear set worn by Cap'n Cuttlefish during the events of Octo Expansion. The other items in the set are the Old-Timey Hat and the Old-Timey Shoes.

Appearance

The Old-Timey clothes consists of a pair of silver Forge headphones with an orange wire, and a green jacket with a white stripe running down the sleeves. The jacket resembles the School Jersey, and it has a collar that covers the neck, a medal with the Cuttlegear logo on the bottom, and a Zink logo on the top right. Unlike Cap'n Cuttlefish's jacket, there is only one medal instead of three.

Abilities

The Old-Timey Clothes come with Thermal Ink as the primary ability, which, being exclusive to the main slot of Clothing, prevents the wearer from also having Ability Doubler, Haunt, Ninja Squid, or Respawn Punisher. As a 2-star item, the Old-Timey Clothes come with two additional slots for secondary abilities, which may be increased to a maximum of three slots with a Super Sea Snail for each slot. Since they are made by the Cuttlegear gear brand, they have equal chances to roll any secondary ability.
