The Permanent Inkbrush is a set remixed by Sheldon to include the high-powered sub of Splat Bombs while retaining the great mobility of earlier models. Recommended for aggressive Inklings with an uncontrollable urge to wreak maximum havoc. Watch out for the Kraken special!

The Permanent Inkbrush is a Brush in Splatoon. It is one of eight weapons included in Sheldon's Picks Vol. 1 and was released at Template:UTC on April 13, 2016.[2]

Description

The Permanent Inkbrush is a recolored Inkbrush, with red stick instead of blue, with a different Sub and Special Weapon. Its Splat Bombs and Kraken allow the user a more aggressive play style in contrast to the Inkbrush and Inkbrush Nouveau's defensive and supportive styles.

An Inkbrush set remixed by Sheldon. Adds high-powered sub and special weapons while retaining the great mobility of earlier models.

Sheldon's Introduction

"The Permanent Inkbrush is an Inkbrush with a modded setup, allowing for a new playstyle! Open up a hole in the opponents' defences with Splat Bombs and zip in to pressure them!

If that's not destructive enough for you, unleash the Kraken and go on a rampage!
This is a set for aggressive battlers with a simply uncontrollable urge to wreak maximum havoc!

Recommended Abilities

Lua error in Module:Ability at line 29: attempt to concatenate local 'linkText' (a nil value).

Since damage from brushes is highly variable, Damage Up can reduce the number of hits it takes to splat an opponent, unlike with most other weapons. Damage Up also increases damage dealt by the outer blast area of a Splat Bomb. It is recommended to stack the equivalent of 3 mains of Damage Up.

Since the Splat Bomb is part of what makes the Permanent Inkbrush different from other inkbrushes, consider some extra throwing range to make use of that. This can also help you throw bombs to the far side of an opponent, forcing them to close to within your range.

The other item that distinguishes the Permanent Inkbrush is the Kraken, and Swim Speed Up increases your speed, and thus your deadliness, in Kraken form. It also helps you flank your opponents and close in for the kill.

Inkbrush users tend to be splatted often due to their limited range, Comeback can help you to get back into the action quickly while letting you charge up your Kraken faster.
