Trivia

  • The theme of this Splatfest reflects the large kitsune and tanuki statues found in Inkopolis Plaza.
  • The change in battle multiplier from x2 to x6 in Version 2.2.0 changed the outcome of the second Red Fox vs. Green Tanuki event, as if the original x2 battle multiplier was used, it would have ended in a tie.
  • This was the only Japanese Splatfest to feature Arowana Mall.
  • This was the only Splatfest theme in Splatoon to be repeated within the same region, as well as the first repeated Splatfest theme in the series.
