The Red Vector Tee is a piece of clothing in the Splatoon series.

In Splatoon, it is a 1-star item produced by Takoroka and comes with the primary ability Ink Saver (Main). It can be purchased from Jelly Fresh for  500.

In Splatoon 2, it is a 1-star item produced by Takoroka and comes with the primary ability Ink Saver (Main). It can be purchased from Ye Olde Cloth Shoppe for  500 or from SplatNet 2 Gear Shop for  1,250.

Appearance

The Red Vector Tee is a dark red, short-sleeved shirt with four parallel rows of white arrows that alternate direction, hence the name. At the bottom is a tiny, light blue tag with the Takoroka logo in black, with another in white below the nape.

As a 1-star item, the Red Vector Tee comes with one additional slot for secondary abilities, which may be increased to a maximum of three slots with a Super Sea Snail or 30,000 cash for each slot. Since it is made by the Takoroka gear brand, it has a higher chance of rolling Special Charge Up and a lower chance of rolling Special Duration Up to fill its secondary ability slot.

Trivia

• The design on the shirt is a mild optical illusion similar to the café wall illusion, in that the rows can appear to be slightly angled despite being completely parallel.
