Samurai Jacket
Template:Infobox gear The Samurai Jacket is clothing in Splatoon. It is a 2-star item produced by the amiibo brand and comes with the main ability Special Charge Up.
This item cannot be purchased. Instead, it can only be obtained by completing the second row of the Inkling Boy amiibo's challenges.
Appearance
The Samurai Jacket is a suit of armor in the style of ō-yoroi, Japanese armor traditionally worn by samurai. The first layer is a loose shirt in a dull blue-green, with a white collar and a black shirt underneath. Over the blue-green shirt is a light gray breastplate with a soft blue and red pattern on it, as if painted. On the shoulders are massive spaulders made of many layers of metal that fall almost to the wearer's wrists. Falling to the wearer's knees is a skirt-like garment, also made from layers of metal. Both the spaulders and the skirt change color to match that of the wearer's Ink. Forearm guards, which also match the wearer's Ink color, are strapped on with a single green band each, and around the waist is a slightly thinner white band. A small black object, possibly a sheathed weapon, is tucked into this band at an angle.
Abilities
The Samurai Jacket comes with Special Charge Up as a main ability. As a 2-star item, it also has two slots for secondary abilities. Since the amiibo brand does not change the likelihood of any secondary abilities, they all have an equal chance.

The Samurai Jacket is awarded after completing the second set of missions from the Inkling Boy amiibo:
