Samurai Shoes
The Samurai Shoes are a pair of shoes in the Splatoon series.
In Splatoon, they are a 2-star item produced by amiibo and come with the primary ability Special Duration Up. They are only available from the Inkling Boy or the Splatoon 2 series Inkling Boy 2 amiibo. They cannot be ordered from another player.
In Splatoon 2, they are a 2-star item produced by amiibo and come with the primary ability Special Power Up. They are only available from the Inkling Boy amiibo. They cannot be ordered from another player.
Appearance
The Samurai shoes are a pair of straw waraji, traditional Japanese sandals. Underneath them are tabi, Japanese socks with the big toe separated from the rest for being worn with sandals. These tabi are light gray with a pattern of dark gray spots, reminiscent of the Splatoon logo. There is also a pair of shin guards, black with a square pattern that changes color to match that of the wearer's Ink, tied on with thin green ropes.

Abilities
The Samurai Shoes come with Special Duration Up as the primary ability. As a 2-star item, the Samurai Shoes come with two additional slots for secondary abilities, which may be increased to a maximum of three slots with a Super Sea Snail or 30,000 cash for each slot. Since they are made by the amiibo gear brand, they have equal chances to roll any secondary ability.

The Samurai Shoes is awarded after completing the third set of 
Octo Valley missions from the 
Inkling Boy (Splatoon) amiibo:

Abilities
The Samurai Shoes come with Special Power Up as the primary ability. As a 2-star item, the Samurai Shoes come with two additional slots for secondary abilities, which may be increased to a maximum of three slots with a Super Sea Snail for each slot. Since they are made by the amiibo gear brand, they have equal chances to roll any secondary ability.
