Samurai Shoes
The Samurai Shoes are shoes in Splatoon. They are a 2-star item produced by the amiibo brand and come with the main ability Special Duration Up.
This item cannot be purchased. Instead, it can only be obtained by completing the third row of the Inkling Boy amiibo's challenges.
Appearance
The Samurai shoes are a pair of straw waraji, traditional Japanese sandals. Underneath them are tabi, Japanese socks with the big toe separated from the rest for being worn with sandals. These tabi are light gray with a pattern of dark gray spots, reminiscent of the Splatoon logo. There is also a pair of shin guards, black with a square pattern that changes color to match that of the wearer's Ink, tied on with thin green ropes.
Abilities
The Samurai Shoes come with Special Duration Up as a main ability. As a 2-star item, they also have two slots for secondary abilities. Since the amiibo brand does not change the likelihood of any secondary abilities, they all have an equal chance.
Unlock
The Samurai Shoes is awarded after completing the third set of missions from the Inkling Boy amiibo:

- 11. Inkvisible Avenues
- 12. Flooder Junkyard
- Boss 3: The Rampaging Octowhirl!
