School Uniform
The School Uniform is a piece of clothing in the Splatoon series.
In Splatoon, it is a 2-star item produced by amiibo and comes with the primary ability Ink Recovery Up. It is only available from the Inkling Girl or the Splatoon 2 series Inkling Girl 2 amiibo. It cannot be ordered from another player.

Appearance
The School Uniform consists of a navy blue jacket, a cream colored sweater, a white collared shirt, and a tie. Like the rest of the school gear, the uniform's appearance changes based on the wearer's gender: if the wearer is female, the uniform is accompanied by a plaid skirt. If the wearer is male, the uniform bears no skirt, with no other changes to the gear. Both the tie and the skirt (if present) change to match the color of the wearer's ink. On the top left side of the jacket is an emblem, likely a school emblem, and near the middle of each side of the jacket are pockets. On the left side of the jacket near the stomach area are two gold colored buttons. On the bottom of the back of each sleeve is a gold button as well.
Splatoon
The School Uniform is available through use of any generation of the Inkling Girl amiibo.
Abilities
The School Uniform comes with Ink Recovery Up as the primary ability. As a 2-star item, the School Uniform comes with two additional slots for secondary abilities, which may be increased to a maximum of three slots with a Super Sea Snail or 30,000 cash for each slot. Since it is made by the amiibo gear brand, it has equal chances to roll any secondary ability.
Unlock
To unlock the School Uniform, the player must play the second set of Octo Valley missions from the Inkling Girl amiibo:
- 5. Floating Sponge Garden
- 6. Propeller-Lift Playground
- 7. Spreader Splatfest
- Boss 2: The Dreaded Octonozzle!
The School Uniform is received after completing the boss challenge.
Splatoon 2
The School Uniform is available only through use of the first generation Inkling Girl amiibo. The Inkling Girl 2 amiibo does not unlock this item. Players must save a set of gear to the amiibo and win a certain amount of battles. After meeting those conditions, the player receives the School Uniform upon talking to the amiibo.
