Details

Snowman vs. Sandcastle was the first North American Splatfest to use Splatfest Power for matchmaking.^[1] Nintendo also began publishing lists ranking the Splatfest Power of the top 100 players.^[2]

The full name of each choice was "I'd rather build a SNOWMAN" and "I'd rather build a SANDCASTLE". The team name portion of Splatfest titles was "Snowman" and "Sandcastle".

The three stages selected for this Splatfest were Arowana Mall, Museum d'Alfonsino, and Mahi-Mahi Resort.
