Soccer Shoes

The Soccer Shoes^(NA) or Soccer Cleats^{(Splatoon)(NA)}, or Football Studs^{(Splatoon)(EU/OC)}, are a pair of shoes in the Splatoon series.

They are a 3-star item produced by Takoroka and come with the primary ability Bomb Defense Up DX. They can be purchased from Shella Fresh for  9,600 or from SplatNet 2 Gear Shop for  14,400.

Appearance

The Soccer shoes are, as its name implies, a pair of bright orange soccer cleats with dark green spikes and laces. The tongue and the inside of the shoe are black, and the laces are off-center, angled outward. On either side of each shoe is a slightly modified version of the Takoroka logo in white, with a smaller one on the tongue. There is also a small Inkling word printed vertically in white on each heel.

Abilities

The Soccer Shoes come with Bomb Sniffer as the primary ability, which, being exclusive to the main slot of Shoes, prevents the wearer from also having Ink Resistance Up or Stealth Jump. As a 3-star item, the Soccer Shoes come with three additional slots for secondary abilities. Since they are made by the Takoroka gear brand, they have a higher chance of rolling Special Charge Up and a lower chance of rolling Special Duration Up to fill their secondary ability slots.

Splatoon 2

Abilities

The Soccer Shoes come with Bomb Defense Up DX as the primary ability when purchased from a shop or ordered from Murch. When purchased from SplatNet 2, they come with any other primary ability normally available to Shoes. As a 3-star item, the Soccer Shoes come with three additional slots for secondary abilities. Since they are made by the Takoroka gear brand, they have a higher chance of rolling Special Charge Up and a lower chance of rolling Special Power Up to fill their secondary ability slots.

The Soccer Shoes are part of the Chill season update on December 1st 2022 .
