Squid Clip-Ons
The Squid Clip-Ons are headgear in the Splatoon series.
They are a 2-star item produced by amiibo and come with the primary ability Opening Gambit. They are only available from the Inkling Girl 2 amiibo. They cannot be ordered from another player.
Appearance
The Squid Clip-Ons are clip-on earrings that resemble the "2" from the Splatoon 2 logo. The top layer of each earring is a bright pink color, while the second layer is a neon green color, both in a shiny texture, with a layer of white in between. The fasteners, which can be seen from the back, are a metallic gray. When worn by a female, the earrings come in a pair and are worn on the bottom of both ears. When worn by a male, there is only one earring, which is worn on the top of the left ear.

Abilities
The Squid Clip-Ons come with Opening Gambit as the primary ability, which, being exclusive to the main slot of Headgear, prevents the wearer from also having Comeback, Last-Ditch Effort, or Tenacity. As a 2-star item, the Squid Clip-Ons come with two additional slots for secondary abilities, which may be increased to a maximum of three slots with a Super Sea Snail for each slot. Since they are made by the amiibo gear brand, they have equal chances to roll any secondary ability.
