Squid Nordic
The Squid Nordic is headgear in the Splatoon series.
In Splatoon, it is a 3-star item produced by Skalop and comes with the primary ability Comeback.
It can be purchased from Cooler Heads for

In Splatoon 2, it is a 3-star item produced by Skalop and comes with the primary ability Comeback.
It can be purchased from Headspace for 
9,500 or from SplatNet 2 Gear Shop for 14,250.
In Splatoon 3, it is a 2-star item produced by Skalop and comes with the primary ability Comeback.
It can be purchased from Naut Couture for 
9,500 or from SplatNet 3 Shop for 14,250.
Appearance
The Squid Nordic is a large bobble hat with ear flaps and a zigzag pattern halfway up, worn with a pair of ski goggles. These goggles' lenses, which are always a semi-transparent blue-violet, are the only part of the hat that does not change color to match that of the wearer's Ink; the main portion, pattern and bobble all do. The rims and band of the goggles also change color, though the former do not always match exactly. On the lower left side the of the goggles' lenses and around the length of the band is the Inkling text from the Skalop logo in white.
Very dark Ink colors, such as the Dark Blue used in Ranked Battles, can cause the Squid Nordic to become a dark gray.
Splatoon
Abilities
The Squid Nordic comes with Comeback as the primary ability, which, being exclusive to the main slot of Headgear, prevents the wearer from also having Last-Ditch Effort, Opening Gambit, or Tenacity. As a 3-star item, the Squid Nordic comes with three additional slots for secondary abilities. Since it is made by the Skalop gear brand, it has a higher chance of rolling Quick Respawn and a lower chance of rolling Special Saver to fill its secondary ability slots.
Splatoon 2
Abilities

When purchased from SplatNet 2, it comes with any other primary ability normally available to Headgear. As a 3-star item, the Squid Nordic comes with three additional slots for secondary abilities. Splatoon 3

The star level may be increased with Super Sea Snails for 1 (first), 1 (second), 5 (third), 10 (fourth), or 20 (fifth) Super Sea Snails per star, or by purchasing additional copies of it from Naut Couture for 10,000 (first), 30,000 (second), 50,000 (third), 100,000 (fourth), or 200,000 (fifth) Cash per star. Increasing the star level beyond 2 stars will increase the gear experience gained by a cumulative 3.333…% up to 10% additional experience at 5-star level. Since it is made by the Skalop gear brand, it has a higher chance of rolling Quick Respawn and a lower chance of rolling Special Saver to fill its secondary ability slots.
