Squid Squad is one of the main bands in Splatoon, comprised of three Inklings and a sea urchin. Their newest album at the time of Splatoon's release is called Fresh Kids, the various songs of which are used in multiplayer battles. They have disbanded as of Splatoon 2 with each member pursuing their own career path.[2]

After the disbanding, each of their members have appeared in different bands. Ikkan appears in Diss-Pair alongside Warabi in Splatoon 2, while Ichiya, Namida, and Murasaki appear in Front Roe with a new member in Splatoon 3.
