The Sun Visor is headgear in the Splatoon series.

In Splatoon, it is a 2-star item produced by Tentatek and comes with the primary ability Bomb Range Up. It can be purchased from Cooler Heads for Cash 2,600.

In Splatoon 2, it is a 2-star item produced by Tentatek and comes with the primary ability Sub Power Up. It can be purchased from Headspace for Cash 2,600 or from SplatNet 2 Gear Shop for Cash 5,200.

Appearance

The Sun Visor is a simple, translucent visor. The brim changes color based on that of the wearer's Ink, but the band and edges of the brim are always white. On the end of the brim is a small white Tentatek logo, and on the left side of the band is a tiny pink tag.

Abilities

The Sun Visor comes with Bomb Range Up as the primary ability. As a 2-star item, the Sun Visor comes with two additional slots for secondary abilities, which may be increased to a maximum of three slots with a Super Sea Snail or 30,000 cash for each slot. Since it is made by the Tentatek gear brand, it has a higher chance of rolling Ink Recovery Up and a lower chance of rolling Quick Super Jump to fill its secondary ability slots.

Abilities

When purchased from SplatNet 2, it comes with any other primary ability normally available to Headgear. As a 2-star item, the Sun Visor comes with two additional slots for secondary abilities, which may be increased to a maximum of three slots with a Super Sea Snail for each slot.
