Issues

I tried linking a reference to this YouTube video showing off the password screen Easter Egg but the site keeps blacklisting YouTube, anyone know how to link it? Speaking of YouTube, that's where I got the length of the songs, but the Makuhari version is apparently two seconds longer than the Splatune version. I don't know if that's just because the uploader added some extra blank noise or something, needs double checking. KingAwesome467 (talk) 12:00, 28 December 2018 (UTC)Reply[reply]

Do you mean that you're linking it under the "references"? Sorry if this is a dumb question... and also which videos are you looking at for the makuhari and the splatune versions? --SundaeSquidS Weapon Main Octobrush.pngTalk 12:43, 28 December 2018 (UTC)Reply[reply]

Yeah the references. The sources I'm using are all rips from YouTube: Splatune, Makuhari, Splatune 2 (need something better for that one, like a playlist), and for Octotune I'm using this and this. The thing about the latter vid is that it's not actually a rip of Octotune, it has some songs which aren't in Octotune at all, plus some of the names I'm pretty sure they made themselves (Some of the songs we don't even have a proper translated name). Huh, where on the page are you trying to link a reference to? I could maybe try and see if I can get it to work (it probably won't, but it's worth a shot). And also, if you're not sure whether the names/songs are made up, you could just try going to another youtube channel/playlist and see if it matches there. I would try going to [1] playlist. It has only splatune 2 and octotune tho. --SundaeSquidS Weapon Main Octobrush.pngTalk 13:37, 28 December 2018 (UTC)Reply[reply]
Basically the line in the Trivia section. And I'm not necessarily using the videos for the names, the wiki's pages on the albums have names there. I'm using the videos for the song length (and also as an aid for actually describing the songs). KingAwesome467 (talk) 13:59, 28 December 2018 (UTC)Reply[reply]
Ok thanks! and oh ok. --SundaeSquidS Weapon Main Octobrush.pngTalk 14:05, 28 December 2018 (UTC)Reply[reply]
I think it may have worked! Also, I was just reading the comments of this video and one of them pointed out that in the song "Inside the Deepsea Metro Subway Car" (song #07), at 18:40, Calamari Inkantation starts to play faintly in the background. I checked it, and indeed it seemed like it was playing. Should we add that in somewhere? --SundaeSquidS Weapon Main Octobrush.pngTalk 14:10, 28 December 2018 (UTC)Reply[reply]
Nice. I have no idea why I couldn't do it. And yeah, I'll add that soon. Thanks! KingAwesome467 (talk) 14:37, 28 December 2018 (UTC)Reply[reply]
np! --SundaeSquidS Weapon Main Octobrush.pngTalk 14:52, 28 December 2018 (UTC)Reply[reply]

Key

On the infobox, it says "Key" with a blank beside it. According to the sunken scroll from splatoon with the music notes to calamari inkantation, the song is apparently in G♭ major. I added it in the infobox, but the reason why I'm saying it here is because if you put the "key" there for a different reason and you didn't mean the key as in the key signature, then you can change it back to the blank. --SundaeSquidS Weapon Main Octobrush.pngTalk 19:00, 28 December 2018 (UTC)Reply[reply]

Ah yes. I should probally chnage it to key sig instead. How on earth are we going to get the keys for the other songs? Thanks KingAwesome467 (talk) 20:53, 28 December 2018 (UTC)Reply[reply]

Ok np! And I have no idea xD the only solution I can think of is just listen and sound it out but that'll take ages for all the songs and probably will be somewhat difficult... --SundaeSquidS Weapon Main Octobrush.pngTalk 21:45, 28 December 2018 (UTC)Reply[reply]
