"Talk Show"

Can anyone explain this to me? When the player looks at Calle and Marie through the studio window they are chatting to each other and will occasionally turn to the player and wave. This can't be them filming the talk show since there are no cameras filming them. Clearly they are just sitting at a table and chatting. Looking at the screen where they obviously film the news one DOES see cameras, but not directed at them. Where does one see the talk show? - Edward Squidman

Splatoon 2: 3.0.0

Getting Callie to show up in Splatoon 2 simply says "by fulfilling certain criteria." Given that this is a wiki, shouldn't it be more specific?

Hat Resemblance?

The article states that Callie's hat is supposed to resemble Ikayaki, but the picture shown in the external article doesn't look similar to her hat at all. It looks more like a cut of sashimi on top of a shiso leaf to me. Should this be changed?

Callie and Marie history

It kinda seems to me that this page and Marie's are a little bit all over the place in detailing their history - as in, what happened and when, as mentions of the drifting apart are mentioned in sections listed before their Octo Valley involvement and stuff.

Would it make sense in both these pages to make one larger History section where we can order things in a proper chronological order, so they're easier to read and understand at a glance? It could start at their early life, any pre-Splatoon stuff, then the first game, the Squid Sisters Stories, Splatoon 2, and the Octo Expansion each as sub-headings. I'd say it would be fitting for any character that has story relevance or even a form of backstory given to them (heck, even people like Crusty Sean and Annie could use it), but you're right. Even though Off the Hook only do story stuff in the Octo Expansion, their details are a bit thin on the ground. I'll wait for more thoughts, though! GloverMist (talk) 11:06, 8 August 2019 (UTC)

Tattoo

Reply: I honestly have no idea how that works. Some people say that Inklings and Octolings actually drown when going into water. But that wouldn't explain why it looks so much like they're vaporing... Maybe she's just using a sponge that has hot water in it.

Unless she's bathing in hot water, she won't evaporate. This is because a single drop of water does not evaporate an Inkling or Octoling. There is a certain point where the inklings do die, but below that level, they don't. A good example for that is Mahi-Mahi resort. Your Inkling can stand on water if it's just below the knee. I can't think of a good Splatoon 2 map that could work. So if Callie washes the tattoo off with hot water, she won't die. ¿ConfusedSquib?(Contribs) 01:40, 2 June 2022 (UTC)

Callie After Bomb Rush Blush

After you complete Bomb Rush Blush (mission), you're able to talk to Callie and Marie in Tentakeel Outpost. If you complete a mission afterwards (it doesn't have to be directly afterwards), Callie and Marie disappear from Tentakeel Outpost. I know where to find Marie but I can't find Callie. i notice that the clothes that callie use in Tentakeel Outpost is similar (or the same) that the gear that appears in her talk icon in splatoon 1 when is agent 1, so im gonna put it in the trivia --Splatoon635

Correct. The lack of complete quotes pages for both Callie and the other idols is an issue that's been brought up before, it's not intentionally empty. There's a lot of work to do on the subject, starting with reorganizing all the missions' dialogue (they're presently out of order). About Callie's contact lenses...

Hey hey!
I recently added that, according to one of Moray Tower's quotes, Callie wears contact lenses. The thing is that I realized it's a Spanish exclusive dialogue. It's not transcribed on the Inkipedia but I could find a gameplay showcasing it (¿Te has acordado de ponerte las lentillas? / Did you remember to wear the contact lenses?): https://youtu.be/8L9fs-zJcWI?si=MpjSHxkAfDSuxTzI&t=17. So, since it's neither in the English nor the Japanese translation, can it be considered canon? Hi!

I think it's ok that it's only in the Spanish dialogue. It needs to have a reference saying that it's from the NOE Spanish Moray Towers dialogue. The quote should also be added to Inkipedia. I looked for Callie's part of the quote so that we can add it, and I have found it in the language files. Here it is "Hay tanta polución que ni siquiera se ve el suelo." . Some of the formatting was strange, so I am not sure that I have typed it correctly.
