Alphabetical

Why alphabetical? Sorting according to type is much nicer than just alphabetical.
Sorted after type
Sorted alphabetically
If you want the list in alphabetical order, then press the Title-header, that's what it's for.

While editing you can't see it in alphabetical which makes it a total pain, even you screwed up when editing the page and multiplied some items twice, because you didn't notice something was there because it wasn't alphabetical. It's also just nicer to read overall. PPLToast (talk) 16:41, 6 June 2015 (UTC)Reply[reply]
I have to agree with this. However, as a compromise, I THINK this can be done, but not 100% positive. You can add a type column (which I assume is supposed to be like shirt, jacket, etc) and have the page load the table sorted in that way. The column could be useful to people looking for a specific style of clothing, as justification. That's just my two cents.Vernanonix (talk) 17:18, 6 June 2015 (UTC)Reply[reply]
I agree with Liggliluff that grouping like items together provides an additional helpful layer of info to readers- my apologies for reorganizing the list, I wasn't aware of the order before, I thought someone had gone and mixed it up when adding new gear. ^^; I think that Vernanonix's suggestion of adding an additional type column is more trouble than it's worth though. Now that all the clothing items have been added to the list I don't think we have to worry about the inconvenience of an unalphabetized listing when editing. I think that we should hold off until all the images have been added though so that the new organization scheme is more apparent. --sunmarsh (talk) 23:10, 7 June 2015 (UTC)Reply[reply]

LS clothing

Can anyone confirm the layered clothing? In my game it's Layered x LS such as Layered Camo LS, but the article only has x Layered LS and I want to make sure this is a regional variation and not that the name is wrong in the article. - Slate (Talk | Contribs) 18:06, 10 June 2015 (UTC)Reply[reply]

Playing the U.S. version here and all LS clothing conforms to "X Layered LS" as currently noted in in the article (and Prima guide). Looks like we have another regional variation on our hands. What would you think of doing something like this? Bulbapedia handles learnsets from different generations by putting them on a separate page and linking to them from the most current version. We could employ a similar solution here where we create a list using only the EU/AUS names and link to it from the American-standard list. --sunmarsh (talk) 16:36, 11 June 2015 (UTC)Reply[reply]
I've been redirecting all alternative names back to the American version thus far, such as Fashion Cap to Streetstyle Cap. I think it would be prudent to give the other names a mention on the page at the very least. I made templates {{NA}} and {{EUOC}} for this purpose, such as on the Safari Hat page. This is currently the only page to do this side from the lists on headgear, clothing, and shoes as there was an immediate conflict between the translations of Safari Hat and Jungle Hat (the two versions switch them).
I guess this would be the quickest way of dealing with this, but probably not the best way (I suspect something like Bulbapedia's way as you mentioned is). - Slate (Talk | Contribs) 16:51, 11 June 2015 (UTC)Reply[reply]
