Nice article!

I removed some of the music credit boxes in the infobox as we can't use those boxes until we have credits. (I mean, there are no hard rules of course.) For all we know those keyboards could be digital, and no one played them (I'm phrasing this badly right? Hope it makes sense) Also, what is your reasoning for not including brackets round Demo?  KA467 🗩 🖿  22:54, 28 January 2019 (UTC)Reply[reply]

Thanks, I appreciate the feeback for my first attempt at making one of these! Good idea with the empty bits of the infoboxes. I left the brackets out based on its in-universe file name, though I forgot to note that Octotune does put brackets around it. Either way, feel free to edit it however you see fit! It's everyone's article now, not just mine! GloverMist (talk) 08:00, 29 January 2019 (UTC)Reply[reply]
Hmm, wouldn't the in-universe file name be Ebb&FlowDemo.frsh?  KA467 🗩 🖿  15:01, 29 January 2019 (UTC)Reply[reply]
Very true, but I just took that and made something more readable out of it, like what is seen in Octotune. Maybe that was the wrong move. GloverMist (talk) 18:28, 29 January 2019 (UTC)Reply[reply]
I'd say brackets round the Demo is the best option for consistency, that's how it is in Octotune.  KA467 🗩 🖿  14:02, 30 January 2019 (UTC)Reply[reply]
Good plan, thanks for bringing it up! GloverMist (talk) 16:27, 30 January 2019 (UTC)Reply[reply]

Lyrics

Nasta!
Riva!
Heire!
Terakonide!

Dibon!
Taimaska!
Stimi!
Wiraonnyasa!

is missing, it doesnt go with the song, is that part missing or am i going insaine? PearlFan23 PearlFan23 character.png 20:35, 10 November 2021 (UTC)Reply[reply]

That part falls under "(scat)", according to the source of the lyrics (Splatune 2). Unfortunately, no official transcription of that part has been released from an official source. StarAdamStar (talk) 05:39, 11 November 2021 (UTC)Reply[reply]

song tempo

I've was making a cover of ebb and flow at 160 bpm (as listed). However when i was listening to the song, in the first playthrough of the chorus when Marina says gyaro for the second time, it lines up at about 51 seconds. At 160 bpm the same part would line up at 54 seconds instead. Can somebody edit it to say 170 bpm instead as it is more accurate? Also happy late anniversary Splatoon 1! Stilllight (talk) 02:30, 7 June 2023 (UTC)Reply[reply]

I'm a music major. I'm still in music school, however, so I may be wrong about this, but I'm fairly certain that 160 BPM is accurate. Listening to both tempos, 160 BPM sounds more accurate than 170.
Like I said, I'm not 100% sure about it, and I don't want to edit something that I'm not 100% sure on. 🙂 WolfTamerRotM Icon Agent 1.png 02:50, 7 June 2023 (UTC)Reply[reply]
at least take a listen to this and you'll see what I mean: https://musescore.com/gamingfs/scores/6164459/piano-tutorial (this is not by me btw) Stilllight (talk) 03:08, 7 June 2023 (UTC)Reply[reply]
I have verified with Audacity that the correct tempo is: 170 BPM for Ebb & Flow and 165 BPM for Ebb & Flow (Octo). Page updated to reflect that. Harimaron (talk) 07:21, 7 June 2023 (UTC)Reply[reply]
thank you very much! Stilllight (talk) 10:05, 7 June 2023 (UTC)Reply[reply]
