Twisty Turny

So as I was playing around with sound effects in super mario maker 2, I realized the "twisty turny" sound effect sounded similar to the record scratchings at the very beginning of entropical. And the sound effect is also symbolized by a squid in the game which is the main creature in splatoon. I would leave a yt link for the sound effect, but the only vid i could find had background music playing and the sound is hard to hear. Although it could just be a complete coincidence, we've seen references to splatoon in smm2 before, so who knows? --SundaeSquidTalk 01:03, 30 July 2019 (UTC)

In my very unscientific opinion, I'd say we should probably leave mentioning it until solid evidence appears connecting the two. Knowing Nintendo, it could easily be more than just a coincidence, but we don't know that for sure yet! GloverMist (talk) 14:13, 1 August 2019 (UTC)

Title meaning

While the title certainly refers to entropy, I believe it also could reference Enteroctopus, the genus that giant pacific octopi belong to. Does anyone else agree? Dungeness (talk) 05:10, 22 May 2023 (UTC)
