English lyrics

I want to say that if there are English lyrics in the music, and that I listen to it and that all the music has them and that only the Japanese version is playedSasha V. (talk) 21:41, 24 November 2020 (UTC)Reply[reply]

All english versions are fanmade. These came from the official osts and the pattern for all of them since splatune 1 is that they're simply transliterated kana (and gana depending on the line) with some small english words sprinkled in like 'hey' and 'wow' (which they actually say the latter like we'd say 'whoa'). There was even a singing app in europe for some of the original squid sister songs that had transliterated lyrics very close to the ones posted (with some basically trivial changes like extra vowels or whatnot) for the wii u that basically confirmed they're canon and nothing else. Because of the way japanese kana works (most of the time its stuff like sa, ta, go, re, a consonant with a vowel as part of their 'alphabet'); you're very likely to attempt to hear something because a long string like 'sakiganareku' is gonna make you think of SOME english words just because of the way its sung basically. My trivia went away

So, I typed in a trivia thing and it just suddenly went away after. What happened?Splatto 02:03, 25 June 2021 (UTC)

As I mentioned in my edit summary, that trivia point is already stated a couple of times in the main body of the article and doesn't need to be put in the trivia. I've undone it as a result. Hope this helps! GloverMist (talk) 09:27, 25 June 2021 (UTC)Reply[reply]
