Splatoon 3 section?

Some of the things listed under Splatoon 3 seem quite tenuously related to the subject of this page. The Great Octoweapons/Octobosses from Splatoon 1 and 2 seemed to have pretty consistent theming (with similar tentacle weak spots cloned from Octavio) and roles in the Octarian army. Compared to that... Shiver is just here because she's an Octoling (despite no known connections to the Octarians as a faction) and Big Man is even less relevant due to his "shadow clones" being Octopods (non-boss Octarians) in disguise. The new Octobot King being a new version of a past Octoboss and Frye's dancing cube being the remaining shell of the Octostomp do seem relevant to this page, but the others feel like a stretch to include here. Totally agree, the Octoboss current theme was now irrelevant due to the fact that the same Story Mode Formula was used in both Splatoon and Splatoon 2, now that the Octobosses doesn't make an appearance on the third game I dont see necessary a section about Splatoon 3, 'cause there's no info (almost…)

The bosses in Splatoon 3 aren't even referred to as Octobosses. -Gulliblepikmin

Master Mega

I just reverted @Chrome Wolf's edit that edited a master mega image to the gallery. I'm not sure if he was an octoboss, so I reverted it just in case. Please let me know if there are any problems. Xan S2 Brand Toni Kensa.png 13:09, 8 December 2022 (UTC)Reply[reply]

I added this because you fight them as a boss. Sorry for the problem ChromeWolfOC.png β„‚π•™π•£π• π•žπ•– π•Žπ• π•π•— ChromeWolf logo.jpg (πŸŽ™) 13:10, 8 December 2022 (UTC)Reply[reply]
So because the topic is called "Boss", I added that to the bosses for Splatoon three ChromeWolfOC.png β„‚π•™π•£π• π•žπ•– π•Žπ• π•π•— ChromeWolf logo.jpg (πŸŽ™) 13:14, 8 December 2022 (UTC)Reply[reply]
This page is for enemies who are or were previously Octobosses or Great Octoweapons. BesnhasthefunS3 Badge Dread Wringer 5.png 13:21, 8 December 2022 (UTC)Reply[reply]
I can't blame people being confused. Basically Bosses and Octobosses where the same up until now due to the final and secrtet bosses of the Octo Expansion being the only non-octarian bosses every boss was automatically an octoboss. Up until a month ago there was no Splatoon 3 section at all due to the lack of the previous type of bosses the player has fought. Everything related to octarian technology is considered an Octoboss at this point. This is the reason why DJ Octavio (ore more accurately his Octobot King) is the only one. The remains of an Octostomp got repurposed for Fryes eels which is why they are noted too. Shiver being an Octoling does not automatically make her and Master Mega octobosses by the definitions we have now. Β Β PerfectionistΒ Β  (talk) 14:41, 8 December 2022 (UTC)Reply[reply]
