Plural
The plural form of the word Salmonid is also Salmonid. In the Salmon Run reveal from a Nintendo Direct multiple Salmonid were always called Salmonid, not Salmonids. Heddy (talk) 13:54, 16 July 2017 (UTC)

In-game manual
Should the information in the in-game Field Guide be added to the individual pages on Salmonid species? If so, should it be formatted as a set of bulleted lists as shown in the manual or a quoted list? Porygonal (talk) 13:31, 25 July 2017 (UTC)

- The bulleted list is great for now because it looks like it does in the field guide. We can worry about formatting later, to make it more consistent with other quotes in the wiki. Heddy (talk) 21:59, 25 July 2017 (UTC)

Flying Snatcher?!?
So, in the latest Splatoon 3 trailer at 1:32, i found this
an odd looking salmonid that was holding three golden eggs while flying. Is it a new salmonid or a new version of a snatcher?? Samurottlover (talk) 02:47, 10 February 2022 (UTC)

2020 promo art
I think this is old news but, the in the 2020 promo art in the reflection water you can see written SOS and if you look closer the first S spells ''save'' the O spells ''our'' and the second S spells ''salmons'', you can especially see the word salmons, should this be added? salmonids should be described as spawning salmon
it says in trivia that salmonids resemble the ocean phase salmon, but im not sure if this is a mistake where someone reversed it? ive only ever heard people say that the salmonids resemble spawning salmon, especially with the Chum lesser salmonid having a hooked jaw and dark gray skin.
