Names?

I'm not convinced those are actually their names. I'm pretty sure the initials were just for what they do in the band. None of them make sense as names (even in the world of Splatoon, I can't see anyone being named "Vo. & Gt."). What does everyone else think...? Stage Names are a thing, you know. Those are the names splatoonus provided, and there's no source that says otherwise. Redactedjpg (talk, 28 July 2015)

(Non-virtual) band members' names?

Shouldn't they be in Western order rather than be romanizations of their name in Japanese order,

For example, in this page, "Nishikawa Susumu" should instead be "Susumu Nishikawa."

This problem is consistent with the other band pages.

Cautious editing judgement is in full force here, but why do we have them the way they are instead of representing them in first name-last name format? Japan is familiar with the Western name order, as I have seen it in several unlocalized games.

Ah you're right! Yeah, go ahead and fix it. I was kind of on autopilot when I added them... --Bzeep! talk 02:54, 28 December 2015 (UTC)Reply[reply]

"Inkopolis' hottest acts"

Is this correct grammar? I've seen this done like 3 different ways, and I'm not really sure. I didn't go ahead and and fix it because it may actually be proper, I wanted to make sure before I did anything :P The E-Litist Dr from squid squad face.jpg 20:42, 15 June 2016 (UTC)Reply[reply]

It didn't quite match the SRL post, just fixed it. Thanks! But even if the grammar's wrong, it should always match what it says in-game, on a social media account, etc., unless it's a mistake on our part like it was here. :b --Bzeep! talk 21:48, 15 June 2016 (UTC)Reply[reply]

Alright. Thanks. The E-Litist Dr from squid squad face.jpg 23:31, 15 June 2016 (UTC)Reply[reply]

Front Roe

nintendo just announced a band called "Front Roe" and three of the members look exactly like three members of Squid Squad. Should this be mentioned here? SplatMaster (talk)

We already added that info to the Squid Squad page. Thanks for bringing it up, though. — Exaskliri (they/them) (talk | contribs) 14:43, 28 May 2022 (UTC)Reply[reply]

English Names

They finally added names for the squid squad now! Nami Ichiya Quinn Murasaki

I'm kinda surprised they changed Ikkan's name since I believe in one of their twitter posts for Diss-Pair used the same name for him

Thank you so much for bring these new developments to our attention!
I'll update other bands' pages and let whatever ongoing discussions play out for bands whose new names contradict older ones. StarAdamStar (talk) 10:57, 23 December 2022 (UTC)Reply[reply]

Potential Trivia

In the first Art of Splatoon on page 49, there is concept art for the inkling boy that very very closely resembles Ichiya, I was just wondering if that was noteworthy enough to point out, or maybe add to the gallery.
